







As part of Baku Energy Week 2026, SOCAR Green actively contributed to a series of high-level discussions focused on accelerating the global and regional energy transition, strengthening energy efficiency, and fostering cross-sector collaboration for a sustainable future.
Throughout the week, SOCAR Green representatives participated in key forums and panels within the Baku Energy Forum 2026 program, engaging with industry leaders, policymakers, and international partners:
Elmir Musayev, General Director of SOCAR Green, joined the “Energy Efficiency & ESCO Investment Platform” and “Clean Energy Innovation and Regional Cooperation: Scaling Solutions for a Sustainable Future” sessions, contributing insights on scaling clean energy solutions and investment frameworks that support decarbonization goals.
Elchin Targuluyev, Director of Technology and Innovations, joined the AmCham Sustainable Development and Corporate Impact Committee session “Energy Transition in Practice: Renewables, Green Fuels, and Hard-to-Abate Sectors”, as well as the Caspian Oil & Gas and Caspian Power exhibition business program panel “Foresight Session: Integration of Renewable Energy Sources into the Power System: Challenges and Solutions”.
Rza Naghiyev, Director of Investments & Project Development, took part in a panel discussion on Azerbaijan’s renewable energy transition, organized by the Sustainability and Energy Committee of AmCham Azerbaijan and PwC, highlighting investment strategies and project development pathways for renewable expansion.
